The idea for this endeavor was to develop an email-based system for managing formal workflows. The communication of small teams would be supported with email protocols, generated from workflow definitions. Competition: Groove. Course: 9 persons took part in writing the requirements specification, among others Matthias Horbank and Jürgen Bretfeld. Collaboration took from July 2000 to February 2001. It ended on my part with registering Transformal GmbH.
Automation
I have occasionally pursued ideas for work organization with small distributed systems. »Small«: Other than very large ones, like the Internet. Or large ones, like private messaging systems for corporations. Their methodical commonality are generative techniques or meta-programming.
