As a photographer, I am self-educated.

Preoccupation with photography since 1975.

1994 participation in Penelopé Umbrico's class "Conceptual Art and the Photograph" at the ICP (New York City). Complementary work about homeless occupying niches of the old UPS building in Chelsea/Manhattan. Exhibition of this work at Hyperkult 1996 in Lüneburg.

Since 2003 open studio exhibitions of photographic work for invited guests. 2004 participation in Serge J.-F. Levy's class "Street Photography" also at the ICP. Start of the perennial project with street portraits in world metropolises. 2005 talk at the Nehru Centre (London) about the Delhi portraits.
